Towards the end of 2020, I set myself a challenge to hike Jebel Jais from various directions and reach its True Summit at 1935 meters Peak, which Technically lies with our neighbours.
The challenge to self was to complete 5 Trails from various directions at the base of Jebel Jais mountain of various difficulties and elevation gains of upto 2200 meters well before my 50th Birthday in March 2021.
I managed to complete all the hikes in my list.
It should be noted here that there were not many well laid trails (such as Highlander) at that time, so there were rough routes too.

These trails were of various difficulties and elevation gains of upto 2200 meters.

I have been fortunate to be in the company of some Ace Hikers of UAE who taught me so much about Hiking, Terrain, Methods and Geography.
We hiked this trail in early 2021, when the route of Hidden Oasis was full of boulders and no established path.
(It all changed after a year when the Wadi lahsa dam was constructed by removing those massive boulders and also Highlander event laid a proper trail in the same area to Hidden oasis)
Now the whole area is unrecognisable and has best trails with many combination trails to explore the area.
We parked our 2nd at the top here.

We started at Wadi Shah (now known as Bear Grylls) and then proceeded to Hidden oasis via boulders route (not there anymore).
Once at Hidden oasis, we proceeded northwards to the steep ascent stairs route to Shahha village and then further to Jebel Jais upper route.
This whole section from Hidden Oasis till the upper Jais road is now a very well made and maintained hiking trail.
Once at Jais road, we connected to the Ghaf summit route and then further to Puro 1484 restautant and all the way to the true summit of Jebel Jais 1935 meters.
Then we returned back the same way and proceeded to the Jais view deck park where we had parked our 2nd car and collected the 1st car.
This route now is much easier and well organised as compared to those times.
